Barcelona to offer Saviola for option on Atletico Madrid's Perea
Barcelona are ready to offer striker Javier Saviola to Atletico Madrid in exchange for defender Luis Perea.
Colombia international has emerged in the last 18 months as one of the hottest defensive talents in Europe and while Atletico will refuse an immediate deal with Barca, a deal involving giving the Spanish champs first refusal is something they will consider.
Atletico coach Carlos Bianchi rates Saviola highly and has asked his sports director, Toni Munoz, to sound out Barca about a deal for the Argentina international.
