AC Milan have accepted a £2.5 million bid from Benfica for striker Jon Dahl Tomasson.
The Danish international was made available by Milan following the Bosman signing of Christian Vieri last month.
Benfica coach Ronald Koeman confirmed his interest in Tomasson earlier this week and the Portuguese champs followed that up with a firm offer yesterday morning.
Tomasson is due in Portugal today to finalise terms on a £1.7 million-a-year contract with Benfica and to undergo a medical.
