LISBON (AFP) - Brazilian international defender Leo has reached an agreement with Portuguese giants Benfica.
The 30-year-old is currently with Brazilian outfit Santos.
"Preliminary agreement has been reached between Leo and Benfica, but certain details remain to be sorted out," his agent Iko Martins told the daily Record newspaper on Sunday.
"We're waiting for the president of Santos (Marcelo Teixeira) to return to Brazil to seal the deal.
"If everything goes according to plan it's possible that Leo will arrive in Lisbon on Friday," he added.
